I have been walking along the sea front and popped into the coastal garden called Marine Cove. Marine Cove was given a make over about two years ago after the friends of the cove won National Lottery Funding of £330,00.00. Since it’s refurbishment it has been used for several community projects Carol singing at Christmas Craft events etc. The latest project is to change the use of the flower beds, instead of growing flowers they have planted out vegetables which will be harvested in September when they will be taking part in the towns Food Fest.
They then had a play afternoon with children making scarecrows to keep the birds off the crop, this is why I love this town I live in.
